Seeking Merchant Account

Hi there,

I'm looking for a new merchant account. Can anyone recommend a company who is:

1. Professional
2. Reliable
3. Communicates ALL the fees, not only some
4. Is ethical & honest
5. Returns e-mails & phone calls in a timely manner
6. Isn't sleazy or underhanded
7. Has a good reputation & has been around for min. 5 years
8. Charges reasonable rates
9. Can get merchant accounts for companies in the UK & Canada

We are looking for someone who has experience with pseudo adult sites, high risk adult sites & mainstream type companies.

Thank you

Michelle

I don't have an idea on what company has that one but why not try to search some update and new information from Google?

No thank you. I prefer a referral. Anyone can put up a site & say they provide merchant accounts. Most are scammers.

The best merchant account provider which are accepting paypal payment also is Plimus.

Paypal....

Pay Pal is not a real merchant account & they steal from people, so I DON'T use them. I use Alert Pay http://www.alertpay.com/?1654 instead, but again, they aren't a real merchant account just so you know, & any real professional business doesn't JUST take Pay Pal. I don't purchase from sites that only take PP. I find that very suspicious & I once read the same thing on a guru biz consultant's blog or list, so I'm clearly not the only one who thinks that way.

Take care

ep2002, more power to you. PayPal is nothing but a scam. Upload all of your money to pull a premium intrest rate, then when you try to withdrawl and your close to their intrest point they freeze your funds! Durango Merchant Services is who your looking for. I have worked with them, they are a little flakey, but everything is disclosed!

Have a good one!

Thanks KC, but I really want people/a company who is with it & don't cause any stress, so I'll keep looking.

:)

My understanding is also that PayPal is not a true "merchant account". They're simply the gateway.
