Default e-gold and e-boullion
I am not familiar with e-gold or e-boullion. Could someone please explain what they are for me? I'm guessing they are an alternative form of currency?

In some way they are alternative currency because their value is based on gold.

We could compare E-Gold and E-Bullion to Paypal. They are payment processors for internet transactions. The difference between E-Gold and Paypal is that in E-Gold you need a separate company to fund your E-Gold account, wherein in Paypal you could fund your account through Credit Card or Bank Account.

E-Bullion has been closed and E-Gold currently unavailable because its owners are under trial.
