Default How to best protect?
I was wondering what you can do to protect yourself from online fraud. Are there safeguards that are already in place for us? I am concerned about people accessing my information.

Become paranoid. The more paranoid you are and the more you question everyone's motives the safer you'll be. Just don't go crazy lol.

Use a credit card for all purchases. The consumer is protected very well and can do a chargeback. PayPal promotes its Buyer protection but when buying any type of virtual good you are not covered.

just be careful with your card. make sure that you are on a secured network and that the transaction goes through on a secure site. Don't purchase anything from anyone else's computer and make sure that your computer has some kind of antivirus software.

Use only your PC and never make payments on unauthorized sites. And use some good Anti-Virus program like Eset Anti-virus.
