Default What is an ACH transfer?
Is there any difference between ACH transfrer and wire transfer and which is better? Is everybody allowed to send money through ACH transfer or it is only available for business customers?

ACH= Automated Clearing House. I don't think that ACH and wires are very similar. ACH is an electronic funds transfer or EFT. These types of transfers are often less expensive and preferred by most.

It is generally refers to Direct Deposit or other electronic payments

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) is an electronic network for financial transactions. ACH processes large volumes of both credit and debit transactions which are originated in batches.

Cool
ACH transactions and wire transfers are often
confused with each other. They are both electronic transfers of money, but they are not the same types of transactions. Wire transfers are typically used for transferring large dollar amounts of funds between banks very quickly. In the United States, wire transfers are processed through the Federal Reserve Wire Network. ..........
