Go to the bank's website, and find out the link that says netbanking. then click on that link, and you will get a page that asks for your ID and password. Enter them, and then wait for the account overview page to load. After you do your supervision or transactions, remember to log out of the account.

That is how you do internet banking.

Yep, I have had to contact customer service in the past for a login issue. They were very responsive.

How do I know that the security of the bank's web site isn't compromised?

SSL certificate is the best way to tell, I check my banks every time I login to make sure it's the same one; it never changes. Plus, the site is set to know a bit of my membership number, if it forgot I'd be questioning how safe it was.

It depends on which bank you are with. If for example you are with HSBC you should have a username and a password that you have previously setup, then you just login via their website.
