Yeah, I've always been comfortable doing online financial transactions if verisign is indicated on the web site.

I do think it is safe. I use online banking all the time. I just make sure that I use my own computer and not anyone elses. I also make sure tat my computer is free from viruses, malwares, etc.

I believe that internet banking is safe. I would not go with a bank that I don't know about. I bank online with my bank that I have used my whole adult life.

Uplana has a good point...one feature that my bank does is sends out an email if any change has been made to my account. This makes me feel it is a safe account.

A hacker could also get to your user ID and password through unauthorized access. To prevent such frauds, most banks that offer online banking facility have adopted 128 bit Secure Socket Layer encryption technology.
User virtual keyboard for entering password that comes along with the website.

keep your net banking password highly secret.and before making a huge transaction always try a small amount as an example.if it works well,go for the actual one.Not use your net banking via any internet club or other office .only use home or safety places.
