Default Do you give your kids credit cards?
I wonder if it is wise to give your children credit cards, as they tend to be always in "shopping mood". At what age is a child responsible enough to keep a credit card without making you bankrupt?

I say when the child is old enough to make payments on that card him or herself. If that is not done the child will not learn the responsibility that comes with having a card.

A credit card should only come when the child can pay for it themselves, when they get a job, start a business, sling crack (Kidding!), or something. Starting them off with a debit card where their own money is deposited, or a pre-paid credit card can help them learn how to manage a card though. Hope this helps!

this generation kids are well versed to use credit cards. It is not safe to give credit cards to kids or teach them how to use one.

There are also prepaid credit cards if you wish to give your kids one.

Default credit cards
It is not wise to give your children credit cards, as they tend to be always in "shopping mood". I'll give it to children when they are older.
