Default Are These Excessive Cancellation Fees From a Merchant Legal?
I signed an online seminar, and pay the $200 cost. With the workshop including is a "free" 2 days in people seminar. Operation of the workshop, and said, behold, I must through the X cancelled on, in order to avoid this kind of "free" conference did not punish. After X date, if I did not appear, I'll be charged all of the "value" of the "free" seminar, this is $1000.

It seems to be that I was wrong. This is legal or grey zone? I plan to go to shop, but to charge 1000 yuan, if an emergency in the last minute, I can't let it didn't want to.

In this case, such as credit card company will withhold the support? This is a question for the credit card company?

In this first thank!
