I gues if u are very cautious and you use your card only on the authorized websites and well placed cash machines you should be fine.

the best real way to protect yourself from identity theft is to put a freeze on your credit. if you are not looking for any new credit then contact the credit bureaus and freeze your reports so nobody can start any new credit. other than that, make sure you keep your credit card in sight at all times and only pay on secure websites.

basically just never let it leave your sight, only pay with it when you can watch where it goes and you will be able to see if someone tries to skim it... also only pay on secured websites to people that you trust. carry cash to pay for the things that you don't feel comfortable using your card for.

Default Secure Your Card
The only way is keep secure your A/c number and Credit card PIN number.

And don't give your card to unknown person it makes duplicate of it.

And never give your credit card information which have no SSL certificate or secure trusted site like "Https://" your card safety in all in your hand.

# Never leave your cards unattended at work. There are more credit card thefts in the workplace than in any other single location.

# If your credit card is programmed to access an Automated Banking Machine (ABM), protect your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or security code. Don't write it down, memorize it.

# Don't leave your credit cars in your vehicle. A very high proportion of credit cards are stolen from motor vehicles.
