Default Credit Card Application
Hypothetically, if you were to over-report or under-report your income on an application form, is there anyway they could find out? Or does it depend on the institution (it's Discover)?

That depends on your supporting documents. What you declare in the application form should co inside to your income supporting documents such as ITR, W2, Certificate of Income or anything that supports your income is true notarized by your legal.

Yes they will find out because they require that you submit any proof of income and other documents. Credit card companies also require additional documents or supporting papers if needed.

In applying credit card, first is you should comply all the requirements and fill up all the form. The bank will validate all the requirements if valid and you have the capacity to pay.
