Default Online only or Traditional/Online?
If you use an online bank, are they just an online bank or do they offer traditional in-house banking at their brick and mortar location as well?

Definitely brick and mortar, I am still not 100% sure if my money would be secure in the virtual world. I know it is possible but there are so many hackers out there.

I think things are much more secure than what most of us would think. I'd like to know from others if they use any strictly online banks or if some of them are both on location and online.

Good point. I know I for one, do not trust the online world nearly as much as I would like but we all have learn how to do that along the way.

I earn a good amount of dollars online but don't allow a big amount to just sit online. I can sleep well at night knowing my hard earned money are secure. I also keep a passbok and an atm though I enroll all my bills to be debited online.

I am loving the fact that I earn and pay my bills online, no hassle. I am also paperless doing fast and quick transactions.

In canada all traditional banks have fairly robust online offerings but there are many 'virtual' banking options in the marketplace as well.

Some have brick and mortar branches, but not all. Some only have offices for telephone support and business operations. Provided your money if FDIC insured, you should be fine.
