Default OverDrafting
Does the bank you use offer overdraft protection? If they do then do they still charge you all the fees if you ever get overdrawn?

We get up to $300 in overdraft protection and yes, we still get all the ridiculous fees if we overdraft. I guess it is only fair.

I guess even though they are preventing people from embarrassment and local return check fees they are still going to get their share, can't really say that I blame them though.

Under overdraft protection, a person has a line of credit to write checks for more than the actual account balance. Instead of getting charged for bouncing a check, overdraft protection will in effect provide the account holder with an instant loan.
