My understanding is that Paypal rules limit you to one account, but if you don't mind breaking the rules it is pretty easy to set up two account.

I one have one now, but I had 2 once before and never had a problem. I had a personal account and a business account. Now I just use the business account. Provided you have a different email address, bank account, and debit/credit card you should be fine.

You can have two paypal accounts. Example : 1 personal or 1 business/premiere account. But both accounts must have different credit card. You can not use a single credit card to both the accounts/

You can ofcourse have 2 email addresses in 1 account and get paid to either of them. That way you can see all your transactions in one place but can also seperate them out to see each emails transactions individually as well if you want to.

Accounting is much easier when you do not mingle personal with business and paypal DOES allow a person to have one of each. It is not breaking rules and Paypal does not mind. I call PayPal support once in awhile and they always see both accounts and just ask which one I have a question on.

You can also have 8 email addresses on 1 account so all your businesses can go to one.

yeah you can have many paypal accounts, I do, but the best thing to do is set up a merchant account and that way you get better rates on transactions and you will get deals throughout the year.

Cool One is Better than Two

So, can I have two paypal accounts? If not, what should I do? Thanks!
I have read posts on this topic before, and the answer would be: it is obviously possible to have two accounts, under two different email addresses and bank accounts. However, to lessen the problems to be encountered in the future, it is best that you focus on only one account. You can always result to having your account upgraded, if you want a higher sending/withdrawing limit since you have a website that collects money.

Good luck!
