Do we have to always use the SSL certificate everytime we create a new website for business? What are the problems if there is no SSL certificate for the website?
If you are going to have things on your website that need to be locked down and secure (like credit card purchases), then yes you are going to need one. If there is no SSL I am not putting my CC info in there.

SSL is one security of site, SSL do encrypt packets of data, and if this encryption is not there then packets of data would travel without confidentiality.
