Default Be careful with your details
I received an email that related a incident where a clerk in a business, wrote off the credit card details when the owner was not looking and used the card number for his personal use.

I remember seeing an email to that effect as well. Since that time, I haven't allowed my card out of my sight, but that is not necessarily a foolproof way to avoid card theft.
